My new novel ‘I Love Your Cupcakes’ is here! Come and have a taste!

Just Olga

Hi all:

As I’ m sure you’ll remember, I’ve been talking about the new romance I was working on for a while. I asked for suggestions of names, recipes, and more recently I shared the beginning of the novel. I can give you the news. It’s now seen the light (or in its case, come out of the oven!).

Spotlight on Rescued by the Spy by Patricia Green

Jenna Jaxon Romance--because passion is timeless.

Welcome to my Tuesday Spotlight.  I found out that Patricia Green’s Sci-Fi Erotic Romance Rescued by the Spy has just gone on pre-order at Amazon, so I had to have her here on my blog.  I read this book before its brand new make-over and it was hot then.  Can’t wait to see the new version!  If it’s got Patricia Green’s name on the cover, it’s going to be a great read!

Can an undercover spy save the women he loves without blowing his cover?

A romance scene is much like a fight.

The Folklore Food Blog

SADDP3

1. Fights and Romance always begin with some sort of tension between two people or parties.
2. They circle each other finding out their strengths and weaknesses.
3. They punch, kick and claw, tear at each others clothes, caress each others naughty bits.
4. One person gets over on the other with a twist. Flipped over, wrong way in, uses a special weapon that seems unbeatable.
5. All hope is lost, can our hero submit to such pleasures or absolute defeat?
6. Digging down, letting go all inhibitions, holding on for dear life, submitting, fighting the unbearable pain, giving into pleasure, reaching out with your very last breath and striking your enemy down, releasing.
7. Laying in each others arms, glowing in the shameless aftermath of passion. Standing on the battle field looking over fallen enemies and comrades alike, triumphant.

They are very much the same. Ladies and Gentlemen the 7 point…

Sneak Peek Excerpt: Heartbreak’s Reward, Book 2

Author Mary J. McCoy-Dressel

HeartbreaksReward_LRG#WesternRomance #MFRWAuthor #SneakPeek

You are not imagining things. Mary is actually writing a blog post. I’m sorry it has been so long. Hope you’re still around to read this sneak peek into Heartbreak’s Reward. I don’t talk much about Jase and Brenna, the hero and heroine here. Of course, Jase is introduced in Cowboy Boss and his Destiny, but I’m writing this as a standalone book—same as Cowboy Boss.

Coming Early September

Double Dutch ranch series: love at first sight #2 Peek

Set-up: Brenna is new in town. She’s been having a hard time finding her way around.

Here we go:

smallShe no sooner got near the entrance and the tall cowboy came out through the door. His face lit with a big smile. “Wow, good timing,” she said.

Jase gave her a nod. “Hi there, Brenna Page. I see you made it all on your own.”

“I didn’t know…

Meet the Author: Viv Drewa

Susan Finlay Writes

I’d like to introduce you to the ninety-second interviewee in my ‘Meet the Author’ series. She is Viv Drewa.

viv-drewa

Hi, Viv! Welcome to Susan Finlay Writes blog site. Can you tell us a bit about your background as a writer?

I first discovered I wanted to be a writer in 1963 after reading a novel by JR Green entitled The Whistling Sword. I was an avid reader but this novel planted the seed to my love of writing.

Your latest novel, The Angler and the Owl, was published in January 2014. What is the book about and what is the genre?

A snippet on the novel: At France’s camp two jaguars attack one of the boatmen severing his left leg. The other two boatmen, they all have rifles, shoot at the jaguars killing one. The other escapes with the boatman’s leg. Doc and the others wake to the…

Emma, Mr. Knightley, and Chili-Slaw Dogs

Howard Books/ Simon and Schuster Howard Books/ Simon and Schuster

You had me at chili…and Mr. Knightley. Mr. Knightley eating chili? Sorry, what was I writing about, oh yes, this engaging restructuring of Jane Austen’s Emmaby Mary Jane Hathaway.

Sometimes I like adaptations of Jane Austen, sometimes I don’t. This one is lovely.

Modern day.
Southern United States.
Caroline and Brooks have been friends since childhood.
Caroline has returned home to care for her mother. Brooks listens to her, cares about her, he’s hot, kind, chivalrous, smart, funny, rich, and brings her chili-slaw dogs to brighten her terrible day…why can’t she stop friendzoning him?
This is just one in the Jane Austen Takes The South series, but it made me want to read more.
Here’s the yummy part, the author borrowed from Ms. Austen, but then added her own touches to spice things up.

Love Triangle …

Datingdilemma

What is the love Triangle ??…

Why is it that person A likes person B and they don’t like them they are into Person C>!? This is what I would define as the love triangle its a cycle of being in love with those who don’t love you and being loved by those you do not love.

Why do we get into triangles?

  • We like those who don’t like us because we find the unobtainable attractive, so what does this actually mean – I guess we like what we cannot have and we imagine what we cannot have ( I know as a girl) we dream of what a future would be like with these types of men! We build them up in our heads and basically we do not even know them!
  • We don’t like the ones that are too much into us because in some cases it’s too…
